I've been playing and writing music most of my life. I'm a classically trained pianist since age 5. I have a BA in Sound Arts from Prescott College. I studied composition at a masters level at San Francisco State University. Later in life I studied jazz harmony with Adam Domash. I've had many other teachers along the way. I own a studio full of instruments, gadgets, and tape and love staying analog as much as possible.

Beyond my solo work, I love collaborating.  I’ve scored a catalog of films including five for Oscar/Emmy nominated director Frederick Marx (Hoop Dreams) and the film Circus Person by Britt Lower (Severance).  I recently put together a hodgepodge team of friends and their mothers to score David Nast Cole’s short Western, Worship.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with some amazing brands including: Reebok, Nike, Uber, Facebook, YouTube, PayPal, GoPro, Volvo, Russell Athletic and MTV.  I also designed the Google Pixel’s default ringtone, Zen.  Throughout the 2017-2018 championship season, the Golden State Warriors entered Oracle Arena to music I composed.
