You can hear influences in my sound from 16th century holy music, their 18th century successors, the romantics, and the impressionists. More recently, my influence comes from jazz ballads, avant-garde pop, industrial noise, minimalism, psyche rock, and electronic music. My closest set of peers live under the current neo-classical umbrella.
If I had to classify what I do it would be experimental classical and electronic.
Beyond my solo work, I love collaborating. I’ve scored a catalog of films including five for Oscar/Emmy nominated director Frederick Marx (Hoop Dreams) and the film Circus Person by Britt Lower (Severance). I recently put together a hodgepodge team of friends and their mothers to score David Nast Cole’s short Western, Worship.
I’ve had the opportunity to work with some amazing brands including: Reebok, Nike, Uber, Facebook, YouTube, PayPal, GoPro, Volvo, Russell Athletic and MTV. I also designed the Google Pixel’s default ringtone, Zen. Throughout the 2017-2018 championship season, the Golden State Warriors entered Oracle Arena to music I composed.
This is my life. Thanks for stopping by and don’t hesitate to reach out
